We cordially invite to the Baldwin Boys’ Mind Masters Inter School Level Chess Tournament, Bangalore. Jan 13th 2024 , 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Categories :

Under 8 open ( Born on or after 1-1-2016 )

Under 10 open ( Born on or after 1-1-2014 )

Under 13 open (Born on or after 1-1-2011)

Under 16 open (Born on or after 1-1-2008)

TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS :

  1. Tournament will be held in 4 categories: Under 8, 10, 13 & 16 Open
    (Boys & Girls combined).
  2. Girl players are eligible for open prize. One player will be awarded.
  3. only one prize whichever higher.
  4. No restriction on the number of players to be fielded by a school.
  5. A player can play only one category. Lower age player may opt to play higher category, in such case he/ she cannot play another category.
  6. Tournament will be held in 6-7 round Rapid Swiss league system.
  7. Time Control: 20 mins each, 5 seconds increment per move.
  8. Players list, pairings will be published in chess-results.com For corrections in players list contact: 7338318817 before 6.00pm of 11th January.
  9. Spot entries will not be accepted.
  10. Accompanying School team managers/ parents are not allowed in the playing area during the matches.
  11. Snacks and refreshments will be provided to all the participants. Students must carry own lunch or can utilise School canteen.

Prizes:

    • Trophies & merit certificates for top 5
      players in open & for top 5 among girls.

    • Overall best school prize for top 3
      performing schools based on top 5
      individual placings.

    • Participation certificate to all the
      participants.
